KOA NUI CHAMPIONSHIPS
Koa Nui is the first big race of our OC-1 season. This race is a two day race consisting of three races ranging from a 2 mile sprint to a 1.5 hour race on day 2. This year was the first time back for me in 6 years. The last time I participated was 2011. Conditions were flat and Patrick Dolan and Daniel Bova showed their strength. I was very happy to finish behind them in such tough conditions. Angie Dolan, Pat's wife had a fantastic race and finished 2nd overall as well.
